I know some fans hate this and I get it. But at least its one year.

And goddamn, if you hate Rabiot, this is actually great news for you. Him and his mom just got INSANELY humbled. Humiliated. They thought they were about to get another payday and instead and coming back to Juventus for the SAME wages. Hilarious. What a fucking shitshow from his mom/agent wonder woman cunt.

I don't quite understand a one year deal though. What is the point? If you want to stay you sign for multiple years, if we want you we offer multiple years.

What exactly does a one year contract say

He probably wants to put together another year and lock in a payday at a much higher wage (here or elsewhere) and Juventus only wanted multiple years at the same salary or even lower.

We should've only offered him a lower salary for the insult of his first 3 years here.

Ive never been a fan of Rabiot, but sometimes we need to be objective in our analyse. Rabiot costs us around 10m per year, he’s very cheap due to the tax benefits. In our situation even a random midfielder from Bologna would cost us more, while he had a amazing year and a great World Cup. We have to be fair, acknowledge our dire situation and understand that renewing probably is the best option on the chess board. We don’t have 100m for a bunch of new players.

I’ll never become a big fan though

We can reason that decision from our perspective aswel. Rabiot isn’t a guarantee for multiple years, so using him as a bridge to hopefully a better summer in ‘24 makes sense.

Both hedging their bets. Rabiot is probably holding out for a better offer that didn't arrive but I would say that he does seem to have an attachment to us and Allegri. I'd say the signing definitely suggests Allegri is going nowhere.

From our point of view 1 year is a good deal. He was at times very good last season, at others not so much. But we saw that a motivated Rabiot can contribute for us. If he is playing for a big move next summer we benefit. Also avoids us being tied in to a long expensive contract on someone who only really showed up for 1 season.

One less hole in the squad to fix this summer too.

It makes sense I suppose. The expired failed coach who adores him is rewarded for consistent failure, so his most loyal pupil and soldier also stays for an additional year, a year upon its culmination/completion, the Euros await. Perhaps he was concerned that moving (not that anyone really wanted him, aside from the red cunts of manc) would jeopardize his selection for Les Bleus.

Anyway, it's another season of Failegri and Fagiot fondling and massaging each other's testicles.

Its just quick desperation from us, postpone midfield signings a year, and lack of options for him.

Because it only way this makes sense is this:

He is staying on 1 year contract on the same salary he desperately wanted a raise on.

Because he didn't get a single other good offer.
