You can turn it around. Why would we want to retain an expensive player that rarely offers anything at all? Might as well pick ANYONE that is cheap and accept our misfortune. I really don't see why would keep him around. If he lowers his salary to 1.5m, cancels his mom, and accepts the bench and a contract for one year knowing we are looking for his replacement. Sure.
Don't want anyone to get hurt to keep them from playing,, but if I could choose one player it would have been Rabiot with that shot he took to the leg. Just enough to not say not out of game, but on sidelines for a month or so we could be done with thinking and me hoping he isn't coming back.
Though with what I have seen from previous Juve management decisions, wouldn't surprise me they sign him on the cheap if injured and believe that's a wise move. End this now and just tell him to go look elsewhere. I've seen enough US sports where guys sign for less than expected produce less than expected and then give you in a round-about way paraphrasing, "well my production is equaling my pay."

It WAS at some point cheaper to renew him, since we could have take advantage of the Growth Decree, thats why we did offer him a 7M salary plus bonus... however, the moment he and his momymy dear let his contract run out now we cant "renew" his contract, we will have to sign a new contract and now we cant use de Growth Decree so... at this moment and considering the crazy wages he wants, its cheaper to get someone else... and we already did with Thuram...
