Adriano and Gila have both allegedly turned down Chelsea and Shevchenko did earlier in the season. I hope they don't come after Zlatan but reports in Britain are that they want Samuel Eto'o

What is Abrahimovich smoking these days? Besides his cash. Why doesnt he just support some charity with the money he has instead of Chelsea?

Abramovich is going to far, he's now going after every good player on the planet. How the hell will he get past the new UEFA rule that you must have two players in your team from your own youth acadamy?

How exactly??

Chelsea are doing exactly what they said they would... they are looking for 4 class players to fill their gaps... A centre forward, a left back, a midfielder and one other...

As such they are looking at everyone that plays that position... What exactly is wrong with that ?

Or are thay not allowed to buy players for the positions they are lacking in ?

How the hell will he get past the new UEFA rule that you must have two players in your team from your own youth acadamy?
Quite easily... as they allready have that.. not too mention abramovich has put alot into chelseas new youth academy which is doing very well indeed

Sorry to inform you but they dont have 2 from their own academy, only 1 = Terry

Lampard is from West Ham's, Bridge is from Southampton, Parker from Charton and Johnson from West Ham

So infact they nly hav 1 from their own academy:cool:

Robert Huth & Lenny Pidgeley... thank you!

I also believe Mikael Forssell meets uefas criteria for a youth product

And I presume the Juve squad is filled with players from the the youth academy? :groan:
Thats also a fair point... I dont see many in our first team squad that clasify as youth products

In fact, by uefas criteria... I dont see any
