If we will look at it that way, many things are bad for health. how about fast food. meat (red kind) and many other food, if chicken is eaten not well cooked, it would poison you, and that link says "undercooked pork".. Hoori for your question, i was born a muslim, i've read the Koran, the Hadith, stories about Sahaba and all that and i believed in it. I'm yet to be convinced by anyone why i'm wrong.

What parts of Qoran have you read and what did you like about it the most? If you were born to Christian parents yet had the chance to know about Qoran, would you have converted to Islam? I mean, do you find what you've read on this book convincing enough to make you believe in it even if you had Christian parents?

Thats a tough question to answer, i don't know if i would have read the Koran had i not been born a muslim or in a muslim country. How can i answer that question.
