Living in England it is hard to view any football or football related news that is not English. The Debate, Supplement, MOTD, final score and then sky sports with only the EPL and now the championship. Blockage of any foreign football between 3:00 and 17:15.

The tv channels and the media evidently go to serious lengths to avoid people in the country watching any football that’s not English.

It’s little wonder people are so blinded to anything outside of English football.

Spanish football has been on TV (regular Sky Sports subscription) here for years, and so have been kids walking around in Barcelona and Real Madrid shirts. They just don't show any other leagues that much - Bundesliga gets a fair showing, that's it.

That explains a lot.
