There is a big difference between playing central midfielder and attacking midfielder. People falsely assume that a CM who scores goals can automatically just play AM, when in reality those roles require a very different skillset. A goalscoring CM won’t score more goals when you move him to AM.
Frank Lampard once said that he hated playing on the tip it’s diamond because he couldn’t play with his back to goal. Ramsey, like Lampard, is a goalscoring midfielder who likes to arrive late into the box (not as good sadly).
The technical central midfielders like Iniesta and David Silva have an easier time moving up to attacking midfielder because they have the close control to play in congested areas of the pitch, something Ramsey doesn’t have.

He’s not an AM but I agree with you, he had a decent outing, got himself in some good shooting positions but unfortunately his radar was off.
Want to see him back in his B2B role. His specialty is late runs and long range shooting.
People asking for him and Rabiot to be sold and implying that they have failed are crazy. Both have barely played up until now and need continuity. Personally, I feel both will be nailed-on starters before the season is over.
