Ok, i am on the verge of throwing my computer out the window and going on a vendetta to split every tooth in half of those who create computer viruses. Those people deserve no less than torture until death.

I've been riddled with problems on the computer all day and have no idea how to fix them. AVG picked up nothing, Norton tells me it's fixed them, but they keep coming back. I've done research online and none of it has helped. Windows and Norton both give me pop ups every 3 seconds reminding me that I am at great risk, yet still tell me theyve effectively cured me.

I apparently have "spyaxe.exe" and "trojan.zlob.d" and neither of them will fuck off

could someone with some basic knowledge help me out :(

I don't know nothing about computers, maybe you can reset your computer, you lose all your non-safe files, but, something is something..

1.stop visiting porn sites. :D
2.format your pc, there's actually no other way to cure if you have a tough virus.
3.install windows, run windows update and let it update to service pack 2, in the meantime don't surf untill it finishes.
4.then buy ESET's NOD32 antivirus. probably the best av around.
5.install a free firewall, zone alarm is fine.

if you follow those steps you'll come close to being pretty safe on the net. norton anti virus sucks, that's all you need to know. i haven't had computer trouble for 2 years after i did all the things i wrote.

maybe these links could help you..

- go here and read bricat's first post.. this is regarding spyaxe.exe

- for the trojan.zlob.d file, go here and read the recommendations section and follow all the steps specially the regedit one.. though, I'm wondering why it hasn't been removed by your AV..!! it was added to Norton live update list on Dec 13th 2005.. it must have been added to most AV's live update list..

anyway.. you have lots of work to do.. so many steps and reading you have to do about this.. good luck..

i had the exact same thing 3 weeks ago. At oen point though i couldn't get on the internet without being re-directed to some microsoft site that said my computer was being controlled remotely by someone in ksa or something.

In the end I just downloaded spyaxe and flushed the pc completely - good as new now

    go to

    Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore

then chose "restore my computer to an earlier time"

then chose the latest date you didn't have this problem. Note, not all dates are available, only the highlighted ones.
