Worthless move for Vieri though. He's situation is going to be just like with Inter and he's going to watch wc 2006 from he's sofa.

Well I didn't know it was for free :D

But still useless. Unless Milan are only using him as bait I see no value for Vieri there.
People saw Crespo as a useless grab...
Two years ago people saw Cafu and Pancaro as useless acquisitions...
People saw Seedorf as useless...

there is a reason the Galliani's and Moggi's are getting paid Millions to do what they do and we are writing about it...

THINK

Milan has revived the careers of Cafu, Crespo..kick started Pirlo's career and gave Seedorf a second wind.
What do you think Vieri was thinking??! The situation is NOT the same as Inter for him personally. He had his time at Inter and could not shine...not that many people do.

Vieri will go to world cup 2006 and will score some goals for Milan.

But i cant help but think he would have an even better season if he joined someone like Palermo, Udinese or Fiorentina where he would be the star

Irrespective of whether he would be the star, he'd have the responsibility and most importantly, playing time which will be pretty restricted at Milan, if they end up retaining Crespo or buying Gilardino.

So you think your Gila chase is up? Or do you believe Vieri and Gilardino will compete for a first spot in the starting eleven?

Milan's signing of Vieri was very good for US,
we couldnt use him as Milan may use him,
there is a point on the arguement of reving his carrier,
i believe Vieri can fit in Milan's play
and every player who has an exit from the "cursed" Inter gets better,
i feel he will find better conditions in Milan,
he may have 2years of football if he is lucky,
(hardly Milan material though)

BUT if Milan sign Gila,it will be prooved a great waste of a transfer

    Time will tell.

Vieri was one of my favs at Lazio. At Inter he started off well and just isn't the same nowadays and I personally don't see him getting better.

Plus, what if Milan keep Crespo.?

If Milan keep Crespo then there is no way in hell they will dish out millions for Gilardino when they already have five strikers in their books. It just doesn't make any sense to me and I feel Milan will not buy Alberto afterall....but we'll see what happens.
