La voglia di calcio in estate del pubblico italiano fa ragionare anche i media, con tutta probabilità, infatti, la Rai trasmetterà in diretta l'amichevole di lusso tra Roma e Juventus, programmata per il 9 agosto (ore 21) a Palermo.

L'annuncio è del direttore di RaiSport Fabrizio Maffei nel corso della trasmissione "Io sto con gli indiani: "Stiamo lavorando per organizzare la copertura televisiva della gara, che rientra tra le prestigiose amichevoli precampionato organizzate dalla Juventus e che la Rai per contratto può mandare in onda".

ROMA - «La Rai trasmetterà martedì 9 agosto, alle ore 20,30 probabilmente su Rai 2 una prestigiosa amichevole estiva tra Juventus e Roma, che andrà in scena a Palermo». L’ha svelato Fabrizio Maffei, il direttore di RaiSport. Un’amichevole storica , per certi versi. Un test a sorpresa per i tifosi giallorossi. Una gara che farà discutere. «La partita fa parte di un pacchetto di quattro amichevoli della Juventus che la Rai ha acquisito con un contratto datato. Sono tutte gare di grande interesse e una di queste è proprio contro la Roma. È qualcosa di più di un'ipotesi visto che è stato definito giorno ed orario. Il calendario delle amichevoli estive della Juventus è intenso e la Rai ha chiesto di trasmettere le gare contro Roma, Liverpool, Benfica e Barcellona». La Roma in cambio riceverà circa un milione di euro, si dice.
Intorno all’ora di pranzo, ieri, si è conclusa la seconda seduta di allenamento dei tre giocatori Aquilani, Nonda e Taddei impegnati nel pre ritiro a Trigoria. Ieri mattina sotto le direttive del preparatore atletico Paolo Bertelli, i tre hanno effettuato un test sulla forza, con il Dynabiopsy per verificare l'equilibrio muscolare e il test della Pedana di Bosco per la forza esplosiva. Infine hanno svolto un prova sulla resistenza con il test di Conconi come valida atta a determinare indirettamente la soglia anaerobica. Oggi dovrebbe arrivare nella capitale anche Samuel Kuffour, che da domani dovrebbe unirsi al gruppetto già al lavoro al “Bernardini”. Il raduno dell’intera rosa ci sarà domenica, entro le ore 21, a Trigoria. Martedì 19 la partenza per il ritiro di Castelrotto.

This pre-season is shaping up quite interestingly. I wonder just how friendly the match against Roma will be and although it isn't a competitive game it would be nice to beat Liverpool, and Barca too.

I agree, my brother is AS Roma fan and he's a member in asroma-addict.com (fan site) and there they discussed this topic too and they weren't very 'happy'

am looking forward to see this match. but am suprise it has never occur to us. all that i know is that we usually play milan before the beging of the league. all the same it would be a welcome match to me
