Did the WPA thing.

I'll try the channel thing tomorrow as the router is set up via my dad's computer.

Tried the router placement thing already.

The router is placed in my dad's room and I don't go there :shifty: Plus, he doesn't really care about my predicament and I wouldn't be able to convince him to move it.

Yeah, I was waiting for his answer.

Trannies. That's all.

Thank you all for your help and if it doesn't work, I will be back to bug you again.
What Router do you have?

That's not really an option because as I said, it's my father's and it works well for him so he doesn't want to change it.

Get an usb external wireless receiver.
Aren't those just to help with picking up weak signal?

Anyway, I tried changing the channel again. It may be working, but time will tell. For some reason though, Tuz is the only site I all of a sudden can't connect to on this connection... Weird.

Check for interference. Microwave, fluorescent bulbs or maybe too many wireless connections. How many wireless connections can you pick up on your computer? How many computers are are connected to your router? Have you tried resetting the router?

Tried clearing cache? And how about using a different DNS server, like Google DNS or OpenDNS?
I don't know what you mean by that but I will look into it

    Microwave- check
    Fluorescent bulbs- check
    # of wireless conn. picked up- varies from 8-12 or so
    # conn. to the router- 3
    reset the router many times

Would the blubs really interfere though? Weird. But it happens during the day when they aren't on too.
