Yeah drogba isn't capable of performing in important matches... like scoring in the 88 minute in the CL final, and the winning penalty that same final... nah... he just scores against small teams... I love Quag... but the jacketwhisperer will leave this summer and we need to replace him...

Yeah no he isn't.... Quag made less than 1000 minutes this season despite the fact that he could prove himself every single day in training... Drogba is on a 3000 minute season despite an injury at the end of that season

He could go for 3M a season.. where Quag is on 2M a season (or something?) and when we sell Quag and replace him with Drogba we not only make profit, but we replace one with a better player (i rate Quag, but Drogba is better.. even at this age)

Gio is homegrown.. he'll get a new contract... plus if we are going to switch formations, he'll have more playing time and those formations suit him better...

We were barely breathing towards the end of the season because our bench was shite... having a player who has scored over 40 goals in the CL on the bench is something different than a chin, a midget and a fast fused vucinic...

You mean age? because: Lucio 34, Anelka 33, Pirlo 32, Storari 33, Toni 33.... We have been buying 30+ players every season.. short term fix for a problem... We are losing 2.. maybe even 3 strikers this season, and we need one that won't be mad if he is on the bench most of the time...

If he comes to replace Osvaldo, im all for it... He'd sell more jerseys... is better at everything... and actually has experience in the CL... He'd be a perfect sub for Llorente.. And if we are able to buy a good winger or two, both of those strikers will score a shitload of headers next...
