L should be fine for you, I think. Two seasons ago, I bought one in that size, and it fit quite well, if ever so slightly on the tight side (my preference). For perspective, I'm 186 cm.

Usually a slight difference in material and a barely noticeable (although sometimes not at all) change in cut.
