So at 4am a couple nights ago (or last night) Adult Swim played this with no prior warning in between infomercials. It's hilarious and one of the strangest things I have ever seen.

Gotham is ok... I wish a little less like a cop show and more super hero / super villain based. But it's decent. I only caught half of the last episode, need to watch the rest of it tomorrow.

I watched season one. I pretty much agree with you about the acting. Also I was disappointed about the lack of scenes taking place in the fucking ocean. Unless i am remembering wrong, becaue it has been a while, but there wasn't very much in terms of naval action in the first season.

Interesting. I wonder if it's going to be a retelling of the novel in series form or are they going to do some sort of prequel or sequel? The movie came out so recently it doesn't seem to make much sense to remake it again already. But a series is different from a movie. And I have never read...

SOA goes to shit after the second or third season though. Literally complete pile of shit now.

The first few seasons of Oz were awesome. I loved the show, it was so different from anything else at the time. But it went to hell the last couple of seasons. I remember one episode they were all sitting around the common room watching TV and they were talking about all the other HBO shows that...

True Detective is one of the best shows I have ever seen. The last couple episodes are a bit more conventional than the first 5 or so, but it doesn't hurt the show one bit. It's right up there with 'The Wire' and 'Game of Thrones' and some of the best I've ever seen.

Hell yea, one of my favorites of all time. Ian McShane & Tim Olyphant (sp) were great.
