If his wages are reasonable - I read less than 1 million - then I don't oppose to that transfer.

I bet his impact would be greater than Anelka's regardless. We played a good number of times without a centre forward. Anyhow, Del Piero is a closed chapter, but it's legit to prefer having him over Anelka.

It's not about comparing their style, they just happen to play the same position so preferring one to play for us over the other makes sense.
