I think'd be quite a close run thing on whether they'd win the league or not. I'd guess they probably would, just.

So he'd choose to play De Ceglie and Bonucci at the same time to avoid playing Pepe? I don't think so. :hi:

What did the manager do to incur the owners' wrath? ---------- Post added 13.04.2012 at 16:39 ---------- Could get an even better deal now. :snoop:

Liverpool's American owners and sponsors were pretty upset with the whole racism thing and how the club handled it. Wouldn't surprise me if they take the decision out of Dalglish's hands and sell Suarez. From a strictly footballing point of view, it would be stupid to sell him.

It's a lot if it's just the fee for handling a deal for Pogba. If, in reality, it is largely a goodwill fee to get Raiola onside and working closely with Juve, it wouldn't be a bad move.

I'd sign Seedorf. He and Pirlo could rotate for the deep role in midfield.

I'd be signing a starting CB and playing Chiellini LB. I'd put in a cheeky bid for Vidic. See if Man Utd think they can do without him after they've won the league without him in the last several months. Would have to put him through a pretty serious medical, though, to check out his knee...

I don't rate Hulk at all and he'd cost a fortune. The key thing for the winger role is to not sign someone or to sign a really good player. Don't bother wasting money by making an okay signing who won't really add much to the team.

I'd put a defender as second priority after a striker. I think I'd possibly view someone like Di Maria or Ribery as ideal, even if they are quite different players. The problem is finding good quality wingers (wingers, not SS) who still have a good workrate. Juve's 4-3-3 can hold up as it is...

I don't see anyone out there who is available and really good. I'd just ignore that position for a season and try to fix as many of the other issues this summer as possible.

Wishlist and General Juve mercato talk (2011-12)

Santon just seems another okay player to me rather than one that would really make a difference. I'd be going for a CB to start with Barzagli, playing Chiellini at LB and having De Ceglie as backup for LB. The alternative is to sign a starting LB and keep Chiellini at CB, but I'd be looking to...

They could do with a third decent winger, since Obertan is useless. I wouldn't play Elia ahead of Gutierrez or Ben Arfa, though.

He's played a bit. Don't think he's in their first choice starting XI.
