Doesn't narrow it down much. You could be anything from a toilet cleaner to a professor and work for a university.

He's also about to turn 30. I would only consider him if he was pretty cheap.

No direct quotes. Suggests to me that it means the media doesn't know what Zacc will do, not that Zacc doesn't have a plan.

I've had some disagreements with folk about what constitutes 'good football' and I thought this was quite a good piece on it: http://timesonline.typepad.com/thegame/2010/02/what-is-good-football-to-you.html Marcotti sums up my position quite well: "Good football" has to be a means to an end...

Depends how you want the players on the sides of a diamond to play. The movement and driving runs would help open up space for Diego and offer something a bit different.

Indeed. There are a few who are close to having the capabilities, but there isn't really a natural libero about just now. Chiellini is very good at making the odd drive forward, but he is relying on power rather than technique.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2009/dec/23/the-question-football-tactics-develop-decade Really interesting article. Amauri, according to this guy, is the striker of the future; a guy whose main strength is linking up and creating space for others rather than scoring goals himself.

Possible, but I wouldn't count on it, Toro-Merda. Del Piero doesn't really fit that system, so I don't know what would happen. What I would point out is that we haven't seen what the 4-3-1-2 with Del Piero is like, so it may be that 4-3-1-2 is our best system when all players are available.

We don't have enough wingers to use 4-2-3-1 all the time, so there will be plenty of times that 4-3-1-2 will be used.

It wouldn't be automatic, but he would usually be my choice as the fourth midfielder.

You prefer Caceres to Zebina? Or you think Zebina won't be fit for long enough to be worth considering? I think that in midfield, Sissoko, Diego and Melo are guaranteed starters and the fourth spot in midfield should only be decided depending on form and who the opposition is.

Giovinco playing on a flank isn't going to help the team avoid getting overrun out wide. All that needs to happen is the midfield three have to get better at moving from side to side quicker to help fullbacks. In general, I agree about the team being versatile. However, this is Juve's...

Good to see folk pining for the good old 4-4-2 already. I've never hidden the fact that I'm not a big fan of the 4-3-1-2, but once the team grows fully accustomed to the new system, the flanks won't appear anything like as exposed. Best to focus on tweaking the current formation than looking...
