Obviously these are rather broad and theoretical ideas. I'm not about to draft a whole new set of proper, detailed laws banning loans and considering how to close any potential legal loop-holes just now.

I prefer the reserve league system as well, rather than heaps of loans, but I'm not convinced of which system is more effective in terms of developing young players. I think co-ownerships should be banned, but I don't have a problem with loans. However, I don't think loans should be allowed...

A major factor in the English and Spanish teams keeping their youngsters is that they have reserved teams and England has a proper reserve league. This provides the players that are too old for the youth team, but aren't ready to play for the full team, a game every week against a reasonable...

:yawn: If Livorno is the Serie A club that can offer Ariaudo the most playing time and chance to develop, that is where he should go. One must always seperate the politics of a club (which are often non-existent) and the politics of its fans.
