We'll have to disagree then. While Aquilani may have not been great this season, partly due to injury, I fully expect him to become a top class midfielder.

He is better than Pizarro, its just that injuries held him back this season.

OK then, but saying Aquilani isn't worth what we would have to pay is different from saying he isn't that good, which is what some folk have been saying. For the record, all things considered, I think Alonso is a better option than Aquilani.

I dread to think what you guys are going to say about Marchisio if you think Aquilani isn't much good.

Yeah, it was just the contract situation which cast some doubt over Aquilani's future. Roma will build their team round them both for years to come.

:lol2: There was an outside chance of Aquilani leaving because he was stalling over a new contract. De Rossi will probably never leave Roma, and he would never play for Juve.

Makes sense. There certainly isn't room for Aquilani and Giovinco in the same team. They would only hinder each others development.

:D He will either want more money, or more money spent on the team. Just normal stuff to say when negotiating a new contract.
