You have to admit that this team is very different from those years. This one has heart and character and those alone could take you very far. Especially when paired with a passionate and ambitious coach like Conte, and a really great set of players.

It's called trust. I believe in this team so as the others. Try it, it might make you feel better than being pessimistic.

It's a good thought actually. Resting Pirlo once in a while isn't a bad idea. Montolivo would adapt fast to our style too. We really need him in summer.

In a nutshell, we need Montolivo as a back-up for Pirlo. None of our current CMs can do that role. They lack the creativity and the ability to control the pace.

Ansaldi > Montolivo > Hummels in order of importance. Hummels > Ansaldi > Montolivo in order of who I'd like to see playing for us.

I think we need him. He could sub for Pirlo when he's not available. We don't have any player that can do that as good as Montolivo. Look at how everyone here panicked when Pirlo was doubted for the Lazio game. The problem is, I'm not sure that Montolivo will settle for being a bench warmer though.
