I haven’t. Just looked it up and would consider buying it blind just for the bottle lol. I love the simplicity of its notes. Sounds delicious. Definitely going to order a sample to try. Thanks for the recommendation!

Have you tried this before? https://basenotes.com/fragrances/chergui-by-serge-lutens.26122261 1713658315 Tom Ford’s Amber Absolute is another good one. A woodsy, amber, incense fragrance. I can’t recall if it has any musk to it though.

@Dostoevsky Parfums dusita is usually pretty great, and this scent is definitely handcrafted with the finest ingredients, but that comes with the price of a first hour where the natural oud smells just like natural oud should. And when you add high quality musk and civet :lol2: An hour of...

MDCI Invasion Barbare I believe. MDCI has the resin busts as an option for bottle tops, but the price difference to get the bust instead of a normal top is obscene.

I have a couple fragrances I love that I cannot use as sprays, because even a single spray makes me feel like I’m swamping an entire room in scent. Have to spray it on a tissue than dab that on the skin to keep the sillage down. Or remove the spray top entirely and apply with a wand. Lol...

There are quite a few of them. You just need to find something that wears close to skin, doesn’t have a lot of sillage. The high alcohol content of most EDT/EDP sprays often makes for huge sillage, especially initially. Usually parfum extraits are better for this because of lower alcohol...

I have a sample of it, along with about 20 others in the Serge Lutens lines. Haven't actually gotten around to trying this out yet... Is it a good one? My favourites from SL so far are De Profundis and Mandarine Mandarin - - - Updated - - - Fumurie Turque is great, you're right. Love the...

You know this one? Isn't it amazing? Tobacco, ginger, cinnamon...and that damn subtle honey. I love it. So soft and restrained. I really hate fragrances with high sillage and projection, much bigger fan of close to skin stuff that someone basically has to be having a close/intimate conversation...

@DutchJuventino I finally smelled Phaedon's Tabac Rouge today. Holy shit, that's amazing. And super reasonably priced as well. I'm excited. Definitely going to buy a bottle. I think this is the best tobacco scent I've come across so far. Much better than Tom Ford's Tabac Vanille, and far less...

Best on my skin seems to be Invasion Barbare by MDCI, for everyday wear. I love that company. Most of what they do seems to be great. They have 5-6 female scents that are just incredible. Histoire De Parfums has a similar scent to IB called 1725 that is a slightly drier version, with little more...
