    [CL] JUVENTUS 1-0 Monaco (April 14th, 2015)

This. Clear red card. Great free kick opportunity. Monaco down a man for 40 minutes meaning the match could easily end 2-0 or 3-0. Carvalho suspended for the return leg. Obviously having it called correctly and the red card given would have been preferable for us. And a couple people here...

    [CL] JUVENTUS 1-0 Monaco (April 14th, 2015)

The Monaco player actually fouls Chiellini first by leaning in and reaching his arm across Chiellini to impede him. That's never a penalty. 50/50, and the ref is right to let them play. Both players fouled the other.

That's a penalty 99/100 times. The forward is through on goal, it absolutely doesn't matter where you are looking, you can't run into his back and knock him. You're supposed to be aware of where you are so you don't foul the forward. And clearly you see Carvalho look at Morata, and then look...

    [CL] JUVENTUS 1-0 Monaco (April 14th, 2015)

If this is what you take from this match, you're being ridiculous. That's a clear red card for last man, and preventing a goalscoring opportunity with a foul. Everyone has said it's a foul, even Monaco players. So clear red. So Monaco would have been down to 10 men for 40 minutes, and missing...

Awesome! Hope you had an amazing time. Clear red card imo, regardless of penalty or not.

Even their own player Raggi said it was "without a doubt a foul." He said it was just outside the area but could be said to continue into the box.

How the heck does anyone think Morata tripped himself? Why on earth did Carvalho fall then? Carvalho first ran into Morata's back and then tripped over Morata's feet taking both of them out. Clear as day foul, on goalscoring opportunity, and last man. Should have been red card.

    [CL] JUVENTUS 1-0 Monaco (April 14th, 2015)

Don't be ridiculous. Marchisio's pass to Tevez was brilliant and should have been an easy goal. He was also immense defensively, including covering for Pirlo at the back and tracking back to help the defence multiple times when Pirlo gave away the ball. Pirlo wasn't awful, but he was nowhere...

Yes. Because Monaco isn't considered one of the best defensive teams in all of Europe, they're not at all better than Copenhagen. :sergio:

This. THere's no way. Recovering that quick from the hamstring injury is pretty much unprecedented. 50 days, would be around the 5th of May I believe. At the earliest I think we see him April 29th against Fiorentina coming off the bench... but May 2nd is more likely, in a sub role, just to get...

    [CL] JUVENTUS 1-0 Monaco (April 14th, 2015)

No penalty as it seemed a few centimetres outside the box, but clear and obvious red card. The ref obviously didn't want to hand out both and basically destroy the match. I'm okay with that. As I said before, I think he would have shown the red, if he called it outside the box and just a...

What? That was an excellent performance. We created far more chances. There was clear contact on the penalty. Monaco didn't even argue the contact, they just argued that it was outside the box. 9 times out of 10 that is a red card. And a red card and free kick there, which is what it should have...

    [CL] JUVENTUS 1-0 Monaco (April 14th, 2015)

I wanted the red card most of all. When I first saw it, I thought red card and free kick. It was only the first replay where I thought, hey maybe that was in the box. Carvalho out of second leg... A free kick that Pirlo or Tevez could have easily scored... And Monaco with 10 men for 40...

And they were lucky not to concede 4... If both teams were finishing well, the result probably would have been 3-1 or 4-2.
