Have been on Licht's case for awhile losing a step or two, but no doubt if you need to score goals, so much better him in instead of MDS. He was the best Juve had to offer tonight. Would like to see him here next season, but not first team.

So true. Really not much need for Max to play him except for added offensive pressure but against clubs that can score, he's a liability on defense. That being said, without Licht today most likely 3 points behind Napoli.

The guy is going to be 34 in January. Don't think his omission will cause Juve to not make it past the group stage. Have to find out for sure if MDS will be a 12 million dollar mistake. Also what says neither he or MDS are in there if Max goes with a 3 man backfield.

Feel the same way with regards to Barzaghi. Both great players who gave their all for Juve but time has come for different options on the big stage.

Logical and smart move by Beppe. Licht had one foot out the door this mercado so no reason not to let him go in January. And Licht probably would appreciate if the move was to a team participating in Champ play.
