    Are you Massimo Moratti?

Yeah, the ref was really ignoring fouls by the Arsenal players, although he made some bad decisions on both ends. Riquelme even got a yellow card for protesting after Jose Mari was battered in the penalty area. But although he is very slow his passing and vision are uber-class. He wasn't...

Probably around 25-30 million Euros depending on his World Cup performances, and if Villareal are prepared to sell him or not.

This is basicly the formation that Barcelona and Chelsea use. I'm not too big a fan of it though.

'the new'...Riquelme is almost 28! When Zidane was 28 he had won the World Cup and was heading towards Real Madrid in a record breaking sale.

Riquelme would fit best in Juve, much better then in Real Madrid who have no ball winners. Unfortunately I don't think that he wants to come, or that we can't afford him. We haven't been linked with him yet right?

hehe :D But Ferguson would use him as a central midfielder in flat 4-4-2, which would turn him into another Veron. Riquelme needs to play behind the strikers, so that he doesn't have to defend - he needs two defensive midfielders behind him to clean up the shit.

Aimar wants to leave because he is in a conflict with the coach, doesn't he?

Aimar wouldn't be that great either. Sure, he's fast, but he's incredibly weak so not suited for Serie a physical, and he's injured at least ten times a season. Riquelme would be a much lesser risk then Pablito.

Riquelme would be absolutely brilliant in our team, because every attack would go trough him. His lack of pace isn't that big of an issue, remember that out team's tempo isn't that good. And besides, Capello loves stubborn players :)

Who would play in left midfield? Vieira?

Rosicky's not really a playmaker behind the strikers, although he does play there for his country. But at Dortmund he has been mostly used as a deeper midfielder.

I don't know if Riquelme would fit in that well. He's incredibly stubborn, and with Trezeguet and Ibrahimovic also not being hard working team players we could end up with a real madrid-like attack.
