We basically play a pure 1990's 4-4-2 every match unless Dybala is hurt. It's not even like Atletico's because their strikers traditionally drop into midfield. Especially their prime team with Costa/Raul Garcia that almost won CL.

How can it be 3-5-2 when there are only 2 CMs on the pitch? It will be a clear two banks of 4 and we will give up multiple scoring chances with the hope that Dybala/Higuain can convert their own chances.

4-4-2 with a 20 year old at CM. :howler: Allegri is a defensive coach right? Holy shit, I don't know where people get these thoughts.

Casemiro to tell the world he will smash Costa, then proceed to foul him 3 times on a counter and receive one warning. :tuttosport: Imagine if Dybala could suck it up and run 90 minutes on RW, then you could play 3 CMs and actually win the ball back against Madrid. :tuttosport:

I would go straight 3-5-2 against their 4-4-2. 3 CBs matchup better against 2 STs. Especially when one is Ronaldo. I really, really hate the idea of trying to stop Ronaldo with a flat 4-4-2. Even if you can defend all the crosses with just 2 CBs and no DM, surely a ball will fall in the box...
