Exactly, it's a lot like culture. Go to the country that made some tv show/book/whatever popular and most people there think it's trash. Yet they in turn think some rubbish from your country is the best thing ever.

Wow. I heard so much about Stella years ago. Strangely enough I could never find it anywhere, not even on trips to Belgium. Then one day I tried it. Let's say I wouldn't buy it again. If you ask me the opinions about beer, esp. foreign beer, are 90% based on hype.

Yes, of course. Various people trying to convince me but I just don't see what's so special about it.

My digestive system is not very robust. Whiskey sounds like the kind of thing that would be awful.

Beer is relatively harmless in the quantities I drink it. Whiskey I've only had once but I imagine I'd be spending a lot of time lying down hoping my stomach would end torturing me.

Yes, but don't say that in front of beer snobs. Hoegaarden is like the most ordinary beer, it's like the Heineken of Belgium. So when some clown turns up who requires something more unique you'll be getting your clock cleaned for bringing it up.

That was on ideological grounds. Carlsberg is forever tainted for their awful partnership with a club that should not be named. Meanwhile the Danes are happy, cheerful people so I like to think a product like Tuborg would export that quality :xfinger: Thanks. I feel like a guy who's digging a...

Tbh I don't have the foggiest memory of it. Most beers however are incredibly similar one to the other. I don't remember Tuborg making any meaningful distinction.

Me too, but when you said "Sunday morning" and posted a picture of beer I suddenly thought of beer in church. There's not a lot to do there, it's like a boring entertainment program. Beer would help.
