Before we signed Nocerino, I woudn´t think twice about this deal. Mascherano is pure class, a monster. But now I think we need something else because we have a young, emerging star in Nocerino and another class DM, Zanetti.

I think you are wrong, from the beggining this deal was hard to realise given that Liverpool was in "advantage". I must add also that I never read that he exactly wants Juve. So, Secco is not to blame on this one. :P

I know cause I read his statements about how he wants to play in Liverpool rather than in Serie B. And, no, ther is no difference between a loan to Liverpool or Juve, simply Secco backed off in this case cause the deal is complicated, that´s all.
