[Europa League] Shamrock Rovers 0-2 JUVENTUS (July 29th, 2010)

So even though Shamrock had a couple of decent chances, you feel the defence was 6- 6.5????? Excep De Ceglie...was he an obvious weak link???? Add in Krasic, and a decent left back and this season will be a reward for our suffering of last season...I hope!

Just watched the highlights...Im so happy to see Amauri looking confident and threatening. Also...Diego had options, when he went forward. Something he was lacking last season...i mean, people nearby, making runs into space. Other than this...our shooting, as a team, is understandably rusty...

[Europa League] Shamrock Rovers 0-2 JUVENTUS (July 29th, 2010)

Having not seen the game, I have only the reports of others to use as a measure of what happened. My expectations for the game were a minimum 2 or 3 goal victory, hopefuly with a clean sheet to boot. New players, new formation, new manager...and we are not even a full month into pre-season...

Can anyone who watched the match answer these questions, please...? Did we look in control for the whole game, or was there ever a chance we might draw or lose???? How were our new signings???? How were our underperforming players from last season...??? Diego in the support striker...

We won...we fucking won!!!...what a wicked way to start my friday...2-0 is fine. Though I have not looked back over your match reviews, yet, people...I hope we dominated, and could and should have scored plenty more. At least we are in a better position than Liverpool...Hodgson is looking at lining up with a starting XI lacking almost all of his star players. Liverpool (4-5-1, possible): Cavalieri; Kelly, Skrtel, Krygiakos, Agger; Amoo, Spearing, Lucas, Aquilani, Jovanovic; Ngog I hope he does well...

[Europa League] Shamrock Rovers 0-2 JUVENTUS (July 29th, 2010)

Every game is a potential banana skin, unless we are well prepared, have at least a few of our best players fit, and collectively determined. i am looking forward to this game, though I wont be able to watch it, and will be forced to use you folks as my eyes when I wake in the morning and...

[Europa League] Shamrock Rovers 0-2 JUVENTUS (July 29th, 2010)

My thoughts exactly, Luke...I was reading over some of the lunacy in this thread, and trying to reason out the concerns, in light of last season's woeful showing. But I cannot get past the fact that if my other team, the mighty Gillingham, were playing Shamrock, that I would be expecting a win...
