“Chimenti told me of the great enthusiasm here and I have to say he was right. I am a central defender but can play as a full-back too." ...

Probably, yes. Like Mark said, Secco just messed it up back then.

Well, I was assuming there is nobody coming in in January. If there is, it better be a RB if we want to give Cáceres a go as CB, because otherwise it seems like we want Cáceres for RB. If we buy a CB now, he's sure to stay on the full-back position. It would make sense to bring in a 'proper' RB...

I think most of us, atleast I am, are mainly against this simply because we don't have that many great CBs to start with. Next to Chiellini you have 1 really old, but good defender and a also pretty old, rather crappy one. They all like to get injured, in which case we'll have to change stuff...

The problem is that it's a loan deal with the option to buy, for a price that's probably not that high. Our only CBs now are Cannavaro, Legrottaglie and Chiellini, and you know how much our players love to get injured.

Oh boy. Seriously though, who the fuck is going to play CB for us? Cáceres?

I was aiming at the amount of CBs rather than him being a quality CB mainly, with 2 of our 3 CBs being old. We can see what's happening now when Chiellini is out, what happens when one of the others gets injured? Anyway, we don't know whether he's good or not, as he barely ever plays on top...

So when Ariaudo goes, our CBs are Canna, Chiellini and Legro? What a joke, honestly. We better be bringing someone in in January, otherwise we're asking, no begging, for trouble.
