[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

Thank God I'm not a Juventino. And I think the poster was about the Juventus ultras and ADO Den Haag ultras who are friends, Ajax hate Den Haag.

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

Did I watch the match? No, I'm just guessing...... I already said Marchisio moved around, you can see him in different positions, but he was generally left. I don't know why we are talking about positions in the game anyway because at times Melo was in defence and Del Piero in midfield. What I'm...

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

Look guys, I'm aware with how the players moved around during the game but our formation at kickoff was 3-4-1-2! This is from the official website: http://www.juventus.it/site/eng/NEWS_newschampionsleague_F0733AEDCAD4401E839EE56F03F9DF25.asp They mean Legrottaglie instead of Marchisio of...

Those look like ADO Den Haag colours, who Juve ultras have a good relationship with. Ajax on the other hand really do not. I only caught half of the banner that was up about Juventus as well.

I don't mind Brazzo. He is another useful squad player with experience, and he does come in handy with the odd goal or assist. I thought his red was harsh, how many people have been sent off for a high foot before? I assume the ref thought he was trying to kick De Jong in the face? Ridiculous.

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

Zebina was RCB, Sissoko or Marchisio covered him in the first half. If you watch how differently Grygera played to Zebina, and how De Ceglie played in comparison to his first half you can see a clear tactical switch to a back four, even the commentators on ESPN were saying how bad the back three...

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

I'll revise what I said, Marchisio played across the midfield, he wasn't strictly on the right first half. Looking at the highlights again he was both right and left, more left. Either way it was a three man defence.

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

That is not right, for a start Marchisio was on the right side because he was the guy in front of Zebina, as he was playing RWB.............

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

It's pretty easy really, we had a three man defence, with De Ceglie at left midfield/left wing back, and Marchisio right midfield/right wing back. De Ceglie came back more because he is a natural defender and covered well, the problems were on the right side because Marchisio was not covering...

It was definitely a back three in the first half.

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

Well the 3-man defence sucked ass, we looked much better with 4. I can understand why we sat back a lot on the lead, but I thought we really could have been a bit more balanced as the Ajax defence couldn't deal with our forwards very well. In the spells where we needed to score and...

I find it sad how we go into games hoping rather than expecting.
