It would be a shame to see him leave but no surprise given his favorite position and Del Neri's sacred 4-4-2 formation , hopefully Diego isn't to follow.
He was good in many matches he played in, scoring a hanful of goals in the process. While you're right, his energetic performances had a lot to do with the reason he shined.
His agent: "Next week I will be in Turin with Federico Pastorello and we will evaluate the situation with the new Bianconeri directors who it has not yet been possible to speak with. The player's priority is to remain in Turin, so now we must try and verify this."

He should be starting looking at his performance in the last match and knowing how Camo would act now after he realized he wasn't part of our plans next season.
I will say it again, buying half his rights for 4-5m is a pretty good deal, I would do it in a heartbeat. This guy is only getting better after every game, his dribbling, pace, long shots and his movements add much to this very predictable squad.
The same goes for Caceres too and as one member suggested earlier this maybe their strategy to lower the asking price for both while I justify Candreva not playing with Camo's recovery and him getting the nod for the 4-4-2 he plays better than Candreva.
