Im not, but I cook & eat a lot of vegetarian food - all the indian food i cook/eat is vegetarian. I only really eat white meat too, rarely i eat red meats.

:agree: but theres nothing weird about eating rabbit, people have eaten it in the UK for centuries - its only become a taboo (for the idiots) recently because of fucking bambi and domestication of them as pets. Same situation with venison - people get weird about it because they (deer) are...

I'm alergic to the omega oils - I can't eat food with worceshire sauce, fish sauce, japanese fish stock noodles etc. Its more of a pain than a nut alergy - I have to ask the full list of ingredients where i eat otherwise within 10 minutes i need to run to the toilet.

Stick is so much more managable :P When I went for the first time in chongqing i went up to the fridge and just got everything. We started cooking stuff and the locals were laughing at us and i couldn't work out why - and then i ate one of the things i was cooking. You know the little pastries...

Did you have traditional or stick? I did both and stick was a shitload easier.

I fucking love hot pot - I order it with extra chili and no oil - because i like crying for 3 hours after i finish :weee: I had it like every other day when i was in china, but nothing beats chongqing where i had it nightly :D

In the UK local food essentially is meat cooked with potatos or batter or pastry or roasted. So I grew up eating a lot of italian, french & spanish cooking alonside standard english meals - pizza, bolognaise, coq au vin, paela etc. etc. So maybe its never been a big deal to me, but i've always...

I cook mostly with rice noodles, find them lighter on stomach - Udon is often served really really thick and im not too keen on that.

Also West & North African food is great. In The Gambia they make some rad stews and sauces, in morocco and tunisia i've had some lovely lamb based street food. and Cous Cous :D

I've found that with celery, nasty on its own but vital ingredient for a lot of cooking - I use to ignore it when recipe's called for it but now I put it in and i can see why lol. I really don't like English/Welsh/Scottish food. Stodgy, nasty, etc. Its why im not too keen on pasta based food -...
