It's pretty easy to develop good defenders imo,most of the best defenders like Nesta and Canna don't have that good stats in the first place compared to the attacking players.

Andy,if you're looking to make the game as realistic as possible,allocate teams from the same countries to the same leagues,if there are any extra spots just throw a couple others in.I believe there is also an option to rename the leagues,you could change it to Serie A,Primera Liga etc.Then...

I play with DP and Zlatan,or those two supporting Trezeguet when I'm up against a packed midfield.
