    Does war need proper justification? As if war between recognised states is a bad enough ordeal, how can you expect war between a recognised state and an unrecognised one to be any less so?

    Imo the reason behind the harsh Israeli response is simple: Scaring anyone else wanting to convoy in anything into Gaza even it is humanitarian. If you see the activists as Hamas supporters, you could call that just a harsh response. If you see the activists as civilians, that's a textbook...

    There are nearly half a million Israelis living in Palestine territory already. It would be interesting to see how such a situation could be solved. Although I doubt it would since you can never have peace when you have either side not happy with status quo. :lol: indeed
