Right up there with the best CB I have seen play for Juve, superb player for us. Glad he has stayed on for another year, sure a big part of his role will be to mentor the younger defenders.

Huge fan of Barzagli and will go down as one of the best defenders I have seen in my time supporting Juve. But I think he is just a bit off the pace this season.

This should have been the season for him to be 4th choice CB and act as a mentor to Rugani.

Huge fan of Barzagli but we don't seem to be able to rely on him. We didn't seem willing to start him when he was a year younger but now seem to want him to be our starting CB now he is showing signs of decline.

Thought he was outstanding today.

Huge loss if he isn't fit but forces us to go for 4 at the back. I just hope we don't play him if he isn't 100%. I happens so often that players are rushed back to play and finals when they aren't fully fit, it rarely pays off e.g. Diego Costa last year.
