I feel like this guy has managed literally half the sides in Italy. It's so funny to see recycled Italian managers all the time thinking they're going to take a club to the next level.
Inter needed a Juventus legend and a director who made a name at himself at Juventus and the worst Juventus side in a decade to win the Scudetto. They can celebrate but you know these facts are killing their Ultratards a little on the inside.
It was bound to happen eventually. As shit as the league is it’s not like Germany. I don’t even know if Sarri would have won the league this year either. Conte is a fantastic league manager.
Van Gaal - Dutch
Heynckes - German
Guardiola - Spanish
Ancelotti - Italian
Kovac - Croat
Nice mix of different nationalities, not just settling for the Italian flavor of the day like Juve.
Yeah, I was going to say something catastrophic would need to happen like Barella, Lukaku, and Hakimi going down for the season. But even then something else would have to happen and Juve would need to be perfect basically. Way too much to ask for.
Yes, we have. But the answer isn't going back to Beppe and Allegri, especially when they've had a hand in creating some of the problems we have now (stale squad and an inability to break away from certain performance trends of the past).
Fuck Beppe. Going back to him is a step in the wrong direction.
Inter is just capitalizing on a season where we don't have our shit together. It was bound to happen eventually.
Clearly Inter will be winning Serie A now, their schedule isn't that bad and they have nothing else to worry about.
Season is basically over for us, sadly.
