    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

You don't remember how many offsides Ibrahimovic created just because he was walking back onsides while someone slotted him a through ball? That sort of nonchalant behavior was well-documented by several people here, including myself. In one match he was caught offsides three times for that...

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

Interesting perspective. Humorous as well. I could probably name ten or so posters who abhor Ibrahimovic but are seemingly infatuated with Riquelme. While on the other hand, some posters love both. I suppose some people want to have a team of players merely walking around the pitch all game...

    But Zaccardo IS shit. :D

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

The whole Manure team was woeful against Milan, including Ronaldo. Same goes with the Pool match. You can't come to a conclusion on a player after just a couple matches, but too many people here love to do that.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

People on this forum don't rate Carrick because he's English. It's the same shit when I have to deal with some idiotic Premiership fans trying to hold a discussion regarding players in Serie A.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

    1) I was joking about Owen, however he was still vastly overrated. 2) Owen Hargreaves currently plays for Manure.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

None. I never stated Carrick is world class, but he is damn good. And if you're looking for an overrated player, Owen is one of them. You are incredibly biased.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

Actually, Owen sucks. But Gerrard, Lampard, Carrick, Hargreaves, and Terry are all good players

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

People here are too biased against the English to admit when they have a good player.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

Ranieri seems to like the straight 4-4-2 and the 4-3-3. If he decides to place Riquelme in the midfield of the former or the midfield of the latter, we are DONE.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

Okay... so that means Tiago started between 22 and 31 matches in the Premiership that season. With Parker only receiving four appearances and Makelele and Lampard playing every match, that means Tiago was third choice midfielder behind those said players and started a majority of the matches...

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

How many times do we have to go over this shit... Tiago was sent to Lyon after Essien was purchased by Chelsea as future consideration.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

Of course I'm not a fan of the straight 4-4-2, but I also do not want to see our play become directly linked with how one player performs. Argentina is a different case than Villareal as the latter was a side that was always solely dependent upon how Riquelme performed, and as we witnessed with...

 Yeah, that makes a load of sense.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

It's one of my favorites, but it also describes the current situation pretty accurately. A manager requests a player, buys said player, then doesn't know who to use him. Finally we give him away for a player who may or may not actually be a useful player for us. If this was for Diego, van...

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

It would be quite an inane decision to sell Tiago before even seeing what he can do, but I expect such imbecilic behavior by this board and perhaps even Ranieri.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

Yeah, it seems like Ranieri doesn't know how to employ any attacking midfielder besides Franky.

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

    1) Tiago was not struggling to be in the Chelsea B side. 2) It's obvious that Mourinho believes in Tiago as he fielded him over 50 times during his first season, the one in which Chelsea won the Premiership. Tiago started more than half of the matches in the league that season, so that has...

    riquelme-tiago swap deal?

But Tiago is still decent defensively. It's not like he's Almiron and certainly not lazy like Riquelme.
