Trezeguet is still a superior finisher to Luca Toni. Always was and always will be. It would be idiotic to throw him away for another late bloomer.

Bozi is right, Luca Toni is basically the prototypical targetman. But in terms of finishing and being a penalty box predator, Trezeguet was always superior to Toni and only Van Nistelrooy could compete with David for the label of most natural finisher in the world.

I do indeed care about the other aspects of playing on the front line. However, the point of my post was that I believe the touch Trezeguet has given us in front of goal shouldn't be forgotten just because another forward has more supposed attributes. Quality might just be better than quantity..
