    [Serie A] Parma vs. Juventus

Mutu is one of those players who can get himself out of trouble by forcing a foul, and once other clubs take notice defenders will have to give him a little more space. I also believe his play was hampered in the first half with Giannichedda playing midfield believe it or not...Vieira was not...

Well, I think Pessotto made too many mistakes for Il Professore. Pessotto was partly to blame for letting Delvecchio score in the first few minutes as he let the player run past him. I also saw some other mistakes that could have cost us, however he's no worse than Blasi back there.

The only negative points of Mutu's performance was his freekicks and perhaps some of his passing plays. Other than that, he did not have much to work with in the first half.

Dom, I concur with most of your post except the part about Nedved looking like such an attacking presence. Other than that, we pretty much see eye to eye this time around.

Professor Andy is pleased because we actually deserved to win this match with our second half performance.

The decision to replace Giannichedda with Emerson at half-time quite clearly won us the match tonight.

AFTER A TERRIBLE match against Udinese on Wednesday I was expecting some changes in our lineup, and Capello provided those changes. After the first 15 minutes of this match, I thought we were going to have another horrible performance ahead of of us. There is always something that does not go...

True that, however with EMERSON and Vieira in midfield he would not have as much defending to do. He would certainly have to work at it, though.

    [Serie A] Parma vs. Juventus

Erratic? Mutu was really the only player doing anything in attack...Zalayeta and Trezeguet did not do much at all. Mutu caused Parma's defense a lot of problems with his runs and fouled him about four times. Histwo free kicks were not that great but one was blocked by Morfeo (who should have...

    [Serie A] Parma vs. Juventus

The Bad For one the midfield is not shutting things down like we usually do, and the problem seems to be Giannichedda. He has missed a few tackles and his positioning is not always correct...if Emerson was playing in his role we would be quite better off. The defense was in complete...

Our defense is playing like shit. Blasi has no clue what he's doing on the right.

Paddy Agnew is correct when he says we do not look like Juventus, strip and everything.

Why we always have to field two big players up top makes no sense.
