[Champions League] JUVENTUS 1-1 Shakhtar Donetsk (Oct. 2nd 2012)

 When the players (Licht and Bonucci) and ex players come out and mention the crowd being silent, you clearly know its a factor. Don't see how people could deny it. It really felt like a pre season friendly rather than an important CL game.

Exactly right. People are waffling in about how Shakthar are a truly great team which I find ridiculous, seeing as they come third or fourth in their group so often in the CL. Watch Chelsea beat them comfortably at home when they play them.

Wasn't the only reason, but if you think the players will be inspired with an atmosphere less stadium then you're deluded.

Some games, yes. But take a look at our home wins against Inter, Napoli and Roma last season. Dominant, powerful performances and with the 3-5-2. For me it's clear that the non existent support was a major issue for the players as well. The atmosphere seemed like a pre season friendly and it...

We destroyed plenty of teams with 3-5-2.

Exactly, but it still won't stop people with their boring "Fuck the 3-5-2" posts.

I reckon Chelsea will win at home fairly comfortably.

Bonucci MOM. For the goal and some important tackles. Still a few mistakes from him but a good performance nonetheless.

[Champions League] JUVENTUS 1-1 Shakhtar Donetsk (Oct. 2nd 2012)

Exactly right. It was clear our players were not in the right state mentally and they probably thought this game would be an easy 3 points. Our performance (esp from midfield and attack) was just bad. So many long balls, misplaced passes and stupid flicks. We did improve in the second half but...

Agreed, I can see us getting some rubbish 1-1 draw in Copenhagen.

Yeah this same scenario...it's getting bloody annoying now...this performance was so eerily reminiscent of the Ferrara/Delneri days in Europe. Just shocking.

[Champions League] JUVENTUS 1-1 Shakhtar Donetsk (Oct. 2nd 2012)

This was a must win game for us, just like the Bordeaux home game in 09/10. We failed, and I believe it will cost us in the end.

[Champions League] JUVENTUS 1-1 Shakhtar Donetsk (Oct. 2nd 2012)

Poor result, poor performance. Extremely disappointing crowd. Just a really average night of CL for us. Shakhtar are a good team, yes, but I still feel we give these teams way too much respect. We needed A LOT more intensity and urgency from the lads. It's gonna be an uphill battle to get out...

It isn't on any Australian TV channel. Ghey as fuck.

Exactly! I'm pretty sure I saw the cheapest ticket selling for €40 which is ridiculously expensive IMO
