yea, and often when cancelo was pushing forward, cuadrado dropped back to cover the flank while cancelo tried to return to his position

In this specific set up I agree cuadrados work rate is great, and yes he played as an rm during the season. I think we will see Allegri pushing for Berna to be a mezzala though. At least maybe that's wishful thinking :D

I actually like this alot and it can easily become a 4-3-3 if you push cuadrado into a cm role. I wouldn't surprised if we played this but with Berna instead of cuadrado

With a back 3 you're always losing a man going forward. While it looks nice, you can't expect dybala to come back and defend as much as say cuadrado or mandzukic would. Also a two man mid should be a no go and we need a work horse like maituidi in the line up imo

It makes no sense for us to invest heavily into our attacking options, and focus on wingers, if we are going to switch to a wingerless formation. We currently have 8 attackers, with the inclusion of Keita that would be 9, and even if we are going to loan Kean, we would be back to 8. I would be...

I agree, while I do like Khedira and how simplistic his game is, I feel as though if say we play a formation like this it is more balanced with Asamoah. Buffon Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini Lichtsteiner-Pogba-Marchisio-Asamoah-Alex Sandro Dybala-Mandzukic In a formation like this, even...

Assuming Khedira and Asamoah return to their former selves and arent constantly ruled out because of injuries, which midfield is better: Khedira-Marchisio-Pogba or Pogba-Marchisio-Asamoah

I don't think thats fair at all. Morata is supposedly going to start aganist roma. I am willing to be if he does, it'll be as a winger, and i dont want to see this shit.
