i saw it more of a 2-2-2-4, with totti and DP alittle bit deeper in midfield... But lippi didn't have a chance anyways..i mean not bringing in Iaquinta and DP would probably mean a loss for Italy at PK.... but surely there were plenty of momments where it was 4-2-4, when they all commited...

Italy had a good first half, it wasn't only till the second half that they began to sit back...they outplayed the Germans in that first half...On the corners issue, yes it was a very sad sad day...I can't believe we couldn't do something more with them, luckily DP had a better day on that...

definately not, but if ur not impressed with Italy's performance against Ukraine then i dont know how they'll win, its the most impressive game they've had.. pirlo will be shut down in that position like all the times before him....the only time he was successful there was in the U-21...

Pirlo hasn't played there for like ever, because he always fails playing there...he lacks mobility and pace to utalize that position.. regardless of him not having defensive duties, I doubt he would do well in that position... I'd rather we play the same formation as againsst Ukraine, Toni...
