We still failed in getting a quality striker in both 2011 and 2012, hence why I have my reservations and concerns. You are not going to force me to believe in Marotta or maintain optimism, especially when it comes to the attack.

RVP, Lisandro Lopez, Jovetic?! :boh: I'm not going to add Aguero or Dzeko, because I don't believe we were (ever) close to them.

Recent history suggests otherwise, and that is what worries me. Buying other players in other positions, at the expense of getting quality in attack. It has been our modus operandi for the best couple of seasons.

Priority and necessity over closing easier deals. If we miss out, it isn't a big deal. If we miss out on a striker, our chances in the CL are greatly diminished. We should be looking to reinvent that attack, so that by the start of the 2014-2015 season, none of the current strikers (with the...

:agree: Like I said, getting Higgy and JoJo isn't impossible, IF we play our cards right. A lot of things have to fall in place for that to happen, but it seems we are going about things the wrong way yet again, addressing arguably our strongest line first, before prioritizing the pathetic attack.

Lamela ain't coming. You think negotiating with Fiorentina is hard? Try Roma :howler:

Angelo Ogbonna - CB - Torino

I said significantly. I like Llorente, but he isn't the type of striker who can create, or decide games on his own.

Angelo Ogbonna - CB - Torino

:D I will be cheery when we significantly upgrade our pathetic attack :)

Try harder ;) - - - Updated - - - Quaresma is flashy, and I never liked/rated him. Giovinco can be flashy at times, but I wish we'd kick him out of the club ASAP. I just don't see the point in making Ogbonha such a priority; I'd have preferred to wait until the end of the mercato to buy a...

Not too fussed by this signing; nothing to get excited about really.

Gabbiadini is going to be a shittier version of Inzaghi, and since that dirty mall rat was never a personal favorite of mine, I am not against letting Gabbiadini go. Now, if he were to develop into a Vieri or Batistuta type player... :klin:
