Only big name coaches get to be banned. No, wait, only Juventus coaches get to be banned.

Can't say we'll miss him. Who the fuck accepts a 2 years plea anyway? What did the judges originally ask for?

Ah, I see. But still, 24 months for match fixing and 15 months for failure to report? Geez.
  8. The Arif

    Antonio Conte

So, basically the dude who fixed matches and accused Conte gets four months but Conte who apparently failed to report risks 15 months? What the actual fuck?

My opinion is that our reputation was already at a really bad state and what I care about right now is that the damage on the field of play is minimised, and right now if we are to believe the latest rumours the best options is Conte getting a 3 month ban. I couldn't care less what others think...

I wouldn't like to think of Juve as a fair club, because I already do. Besides, almost every football fan who doesn't follow Italian league already thinks we're cheaters. Even if Conte were to prove his innosence, most would still be like "Meh, they probably still cheated but got away this time".

You're making it sound like up until now we were known for one of the most fair clubs in the world.

If Conte gets banned, then we would get damaged in one way or another. It will be really difficult without him, but three months is better than a one year ban, in which case we'd have to start looking for a new manager. ---------- Post added 29.07.2012 at 23:27 ---------- One would think...

What other choice do we have, though? If he's to be banned for 3 months like it's being rumoured, no decent coach would accept to basically be a puppet of ours for 3 months and then get booted when Conte's ban expires.

I think "Without coaching" would be more appropriate.

Exactly. He's probably innocent, but right now, he doesn't really have any other option but to take the plea bargain, since that would be in the club's best interest too. That way he would show everyone that he's not as selfish as he was when he accepted the Juve job. /Cronios

Yeah, but the process in civil court could take way too much time. Seeing how our playing style and transfers so far are heavily influenced by Conte, accepting the plea bargain would be the best choice (taking into consideration how corrupted justice system in Italy is) both for Conte and Juventus.

I'm ashamed I only gave his appointment a rating of 4.

Tell that to people who think Conte is just an ungrateful and selfish bastard for accepting the job. Don't know if this has been posted yet in this thread, but here's a short subtitled interview with Conte:
