    [FML] Serie A 2009/2010

Rep is, to use the parlance of juventuz, overrated. I would +rep you, but it would, somehow, miss the point. Yeah, but Wigan are shit. I would hae been surprised if Chelsea won by less than four. Especially when one factors in Gary Caldwell. :sergio:

Di Natale is such a dick. He's ruined my prediction that Milito would be top scorer this season.

Right up to the point Roma went ahead, so the Inter game started to matter. :sergio:

It was like someone flicked a switch. They were happy to play properly when it didn't matter, but when they had the chance to cost Inter the league they, coincidentally, stopped trying.

But Del Piero is still more deserving of a place in the Italy team. :seven:

Anyone else find it interesting how Chievo stopped trying as soon as Roma went ahead?

Weird things seem to happen with coaches. Ranieri seems to be inspired by coaching his home-town team, which is understandable. Aberdeen's previous coach had a reputation for playing attacking football, but he then moved to us (a far bigger job than he had before) and suddenly became very...

    [FML] Serie A 2009/2010

The only thing that separated the Lazio v Inter game from the normal Serie A practice of teams 'taking it easy' when they don't need the points was the behaviour of the fans. Serie A should only punish Lazio if it is the start of them clamping down on all these type of games.

Therein lies the problem. There ain't that many folk capable of having a civil and reasonable discussion with a fan of a rival club.

    [FML] Serie A 2009/2010

I don't see the link. Lazio wanted their own team to lose a match. Juve, last time I checked, are not playing in the CL Final and so their fans do not have such a direct interest in it. And Inter winning being good for the league is highly debatable.

I can see where those fans are coming from. Juve hate Inter and Roma. If Inter win, Juve fans can sort of shrug and say they have a great team. If Roma win, it would be embarrassing for Juve in a number of ways.
