Yes, of course you're right about that. The concern here is just that we'll continue to be clueless offensively, which isn't a very good prospect. This isn't Capello first season, he should be trying to fix all the little problems that came up in the first year, not ignore them. For the waste...

So where would Mutu play then? Up front? That still doesn't solve much, given that we have enough forwards to stock both ourselves and Inter.

Mutu will *not* be a success on the wing. I'm sick of players being bought and played out of position because the club set the wrong priorities.

We buy another defensive midfielder, already having lots of them. Instead of investing in an offensively minded player, which is what we really need. There is a rumour about Emerson assuming a more offensive role but I don't see it happening.

Since Capello, our transfer policy puzzles me. And this is another one of those.

Am I the only one who doesn't really see the point of this? We already have lots of defensive midfielders, why do we need another one, albeit better? Emerson-Vieira-Giannichiedda ?
