    players that we wasted

I will have to mention Matteo Brighi here. He was something of a genuinely brilliant prospect during his time in Parma, not your usual starlet that emerges every season but on a whole new level entirely. Sadly days after seeing him in a Juve jersey he went on loan again and everything's gone...

Zlatan to Inter for 24.8m €

For the kind of money he's spending Morratti surely deserves better than another addition to a lockeroom already full of bootlicking whiners. But then again, Inter is probably what Zlatan deserves.

Cobolli Gigli is not doing a good job apparently

Anyone who's followed football in general would have taken a season at most to understand that every public statement made should be taken with a huge pinch of salt.

    Loaned Players 2006/2007

With Miccoli's constant proclamations of his willingness to play at Juventus again sans Del Piero and Juve's repeated rejections of offers from Benfica, I can't help but feel that the management are gearing the him for a post-Del Piero era return.

    Thuram: Juve Deserved Punishment

Maybe its just me, but where exactly is Thuram wrong here? Juventus deserves punishment, and a heavy punishment befits a heavy infringement of the rules. Perhaps a more appreciative tone would be welcome but he does have every right to feel disgusted, one could argue perhaps even more so sicne...

it seems that Legro to Atalanta

The plus side is that Tudor would certainly be a starter alongside Kovac, but Leggrotaglie is still as good a backup as we have in the team. For all the misgivings we had about him he's A-grade as far as Serie B is concerned.

    Juve Champions Make Pact

As the article says, its down to Trezeguet now. If he's to stay till 2010 then its a silver lining I suppose.

    Milan lodge Calciopoli appeal

As would I. We have to learn at some point that the punishment must be borne and is beyond discussion.

    David Trezeguet

I'll be the first to admit to having bashed Trezeguet over the past few years, I used to think him too one-dimensional and preferred someone more versatile, more multi-functional, if you like. In my defence he was going through a rather shoddy patch of form and getting injured too frequently for...

Taximan gives the boot to Zambrotta

Still it would've been more fitting if it were a Juve fan instead of an Espanyol one, though personally I'd still be honoured at the opportunity to drive these two around.

Chiellini: “My future is with Juventus”

Kudos to Chiellini, whether the post is real or otherwise. A prospect like him would have surely had plenty of offers to play elsewhere, and I'd like to think that the enthusiasm doesn't solely stem from the first team place up for grabs but also from his love for the club.

    Official: Vincenzo Iaquinta to Juve

True. But nonetheless I think Iaquinta is overrated and overpriced, and more importantly in the financial perspective loan deals would make more sense.

    Official: Vincenzo Iaquinta to Juve

15 million (whether its in Euros or pounds) is too high a fee for Iaquinta and Felipe. Cruz would be a better alternative to Vincenzo since he's a more proven scorer and would come on a loan deal.

Julio Cruz on loan and Bobo Vieri to Juve?

Cruz couldn't hurt at all on loan, we have nothing to lose at this point and we shouldn't be worried about having him, but more about Deschamps making the best use of his men. Same goes for Vieri. They have experience in abundance and both have something to prove, why not at a club which needs...

    Jacques Faty

It seems the eternal Juventus fascination with a sprawling network of loan and co-ownership deals continues. :groan:

Juventus year net loss widens, outlook negative

Yeah, lets not rule out the possibility of a 21-team expansion of Serie A.

    Felipe

Exactly. We've let an entire team worth of young talent leave Juve over the years and while I don't think Palladino or Masiello are better players than Brighi it still irks me to see that we haven't changed our policy on youth even at this delicate stage.

    good news: zebina will leave

I'm not hell bent on seeing him go but at this point anyone has his price. He'd have been a useful backup at least but I'll trust Deschamps to make the right decision.

    Burdisso-Camoranesi trade

He may seem half-hearted now, but the flip side is that he'll be even hungrier to get back to Serie A as soon as possible. Grazie Camo.

    FIFA 2007

Well the good thing about WE11 is that it allows us to create custom teams so that won't be too big a problem.
