World Cup controversy thread,Sepp seen leaving hotel with giant SWAG bags

One of the biggest reasons the Australian bid failed is down to these three sports especially the AFL and NRL.

    [CL] Champions League 2010/11

I dont think Copenhagen and Shakthar will be playing eachother. IMO they will definitely be pitted against bigger teams.

Lisandro López - Forward - Lyon

I'm a bit skeptical about him. Lyon paid a lot of money for him but I don't think he had a major impact yet.

I'm planning on getting a Galaxy S sometime next week. I was going to wait but couldn't use my old nokia phone anymore ( I had a N1 a few months back and it got stolen!). So, I did my research and it was a toss up between the Desire HD and the Galaxy S. I chose the latter simply because the...

Give it to Xavi if there's justice

According to soccernet http://soccernet.espn.go.com/team/squad?id=83&cc=4716 He has the most assists between his teammates. I get your point but they rely on him to score now, and if you want to create a monster then it comes with some cons as well. Hes no longer only a winger or a supplier...

World Cup controversy thread,Sepp seen leaving hotel with giant SWAG bags

 Spot on there Swag. England thought they could get the world cup by simply showing. I don't what were they thinking, their bid was simply obnoxious and they looked arrogant as hell. Weak organisation of the whole and then they go on to say "we can host it tomorrow" . Well, we don't...

    Frederik Sørensen

I think the fact that he got skinned was mostly due to his inexperience rather than lack of speed. He always kept the catania players going on his outside instead of getting them to cut inside where there are more players to cover. He will get better but I don't think hes much of an RB.

    Leonardo Bonucci

I might be a bit harsh him Ahmed, since he didnt gain enough experience before coming here. The defending is not bad, he does well to cover in most cases, but the long balls I cannot stand. Losing the ball 10 times before getting it right is not acceptable in my book. Maybe its because he is...

    Leonardo Bonucci

I don't know if I have higher expectations from our defenders but I thought he was very average tonight. I hate his passing and so called long balls, constantly wasting possession when we are under pressure because hes trying to find Pepe or whoever with a long ball. And Chiellini always had to...

    Claudio Marchisio

One would say the same about Chiellini. Up until the first season of Calciopoli Giorgio was a fairly average left back with a professional attitude and a lot of heart as you would say. But then came Andrade's injury and we had to play him in the center ( he played in the center before in serie B...

    [SPA] La Liga 2010/2011

He tried countering messi playing infield. But Completely outplayed by Pep tonight. He didnt have a single counter to what was being done to his team. I honestly thought he would be smarter than this, the tactics worked with Inter because they were players that actually knew how to defend. But...

The official Italy trip (Juventus) thread

Alright, so am going to Italy tomorrow to catch Milan-juve, then Milan-Madrid, then off to Juve-Salzburg then to Lazio-Roma. I didn't buy tickets for the Juve-Salzburg game, you guys think I should try get my hands on the tickets before hand ? or should be alright just getting from the gate ...

    Luigi "Vergogna" Delneri

Well we still can't really see his touch on the team but I am willing to wait a while on that as long as the results come with some potential performance wise. I dont like however how he considers Amauri and Iaq as a "partnership" ! Amauri barely moves without the ball (he's been absolutely...

    [Serie A] JUVENTUS 1-3 Palermo (September 23rd 2010)

I dont know how many coaches it will take to figure out that iaq with amauri cannot work for that amount of time. Both have very weak movement and once they are we are somewhat forced to play bloody long balls. The pressure is getting to mortality I think. Our full backs are just atrocious to...

    Fabio Quagliarella

One of our numerous problems upfront is the fact that our forwards dont know how to keep the flow of passes generated from the midfield going or general lack of inventiveness. And yes I do think short passes and layoffs will improve our play since we look/looked inept upfront and very very slow...

Ohh sorry. Fuck SUCKO! Was it?

    Fabio Quagliarella

Good thing about Quag that could contribute to our overall play is that he always tries layoffs and short passes instead of keeping the ball. He is the only forward we have who does that well and I think that could be beneficial for us to improve the play.

Formation is not a huge issue yet,we're still in the first weeks. Even with 433 we would still get the same issues only with pepe and milos a bit more advanced and still having no idea. I didn't like his pussy selection and subs. Alex should have never completed 90mins,the same for marchi and...
