Lille's draw was way tougher than ours though. They got Liverpool, Real Madrid, Atletico, Juventus and Sporting who are on fire this season too. From their perspective it's a terrible draw, yet they earned 7 points after facing the toughest opponents, apart from Liverpool.

What's there to be confused about? Top 8 goes to 1/16 directly, while 9-24 placed clubs will have two-legged playoffs for their ticket to 1/16.

What annoys me the most is that over the past 5 seasons or so, we rarely have our strongest line ups playing. This season already seems to be having this same tendency. Always have to rely on 2nd or even 3rd options because the core is riddled with injuries.
