Well he was working on his coaching career right after he retired, and he was working at Sociedad B as coach, so he isn't a complete noob. I personally love it, hopefully he does good.
I see him mainly as Uli's yes-man. Clubs recent success made his failures invisible, but he also did some good work. I'd still prefer someone else over him though.
