So we want this guy AND Nico Gonzalez. They are both wingers who can play on either side but both are left footed and mostly play on the right. I thought that if we got one of them we would want another winger who is right footed who can play both sides but is better on the left.
Can you imagine the rage from Juventus fans if Koopmeiners does a Todibo and goes to Liverpool after they outbid us and Atalanta accepts it immediately.
I really want this deal done and dusted
I think it’s calculated bet at the end of the day.
When healthy he is great…. He had 1 injury plagued season.
It’s a 3m bet. If he has a lot of injuries we don’t exercise the option. If the season proves that the previous season was a one off, then we can potentially get a world class...
I think that is the key. Given his injury record, I would want to see how he goes. So its an option or bust for me. If it IS an obligation then it better based on 80% of appearances or something.
He played for the french national team and looked damn good when he was healthy at least from the extremely limited time I have looked at him. Its a gamble. But if its a 3.5m loan with an OPTION then its worth the gamble. I would rather that then spending 15-20m guaranteed on an average...
I just looked - he had 3 main injuries last season. 5 weeks for a muscle injury, 4 months for a torn thigh muscle, 5 weeks for a collateral ligament injury.
I can see the logic - 3.5m for the loan and OPTION to buy. He is a bit of a gamble because of his injury but if he turns out really good then paying the money later would make sense. Still no idea how good he is.
Possibilita, Si tratta, accordo con il giocatore, valutazuine troppo alta, Si puo, sempre piu vicino, sprint, blitz, il giocatore e incedibille, Juventus buffata
Typical calciomercato Italian jargon
Yes that is strange and I was wondering the same thing. My gut feel tells me that he won’t use the other players at Como and wants the players on the field to grind out more minutes and get used to the new system.
But I certainly don’t ever remember us only using 2 subs in a game let alone a...
Telling them they are when they are not also causes issues too. Pick your poison. But I see your point. There is a very high chance that the players we want give can’t find other clubs which means you still have to pay them so you might as well use them.
I’m already mentally prepared for McKennie willing to rot on the bench so he can get a higher salary when his contract runs out. Same risk for Chiesa but I think Chiesa cares about his career more and wants to play.
You guys panicking after a pre-season friendly LOL.
Actually the most important thing is the style of play. Which is very different. I just feel we lack a bit of cutting edge - our possession and build up play aint too bad - just a bit slow in attack.
